Do  you require your wisdom teeth to be removed?

Wisdom teeth, or our third molars, sometimes cause symptoms such as pain and pressure in the jaw. This pain can be due to wisdom teeth impacting on the bone or adjacent tooth if there is not enough room for them to fit within the jawline.

Wisdom tooth pain can also be due to decay, gum disease or inflammation or non dental origin.

Lower wisdom teeth always need a full mouth x-ray or an OPG film prior to their removal to assess for vital nerve structures.
